Data We Process

• Story submission: Your story text and, optionally, your email if you provide it.
• Technical data: server logs (IP address, date/time, user agent) for operational security.

Purpose and Legal Basis

We process your submission to review and publish stories (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). Server logs are processed to ensure operation and security (legitimate interests, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Email Delivery

We forward submissions via email using our own SMTP server operated with a Germany-based hosting provider. Your submission (story text and, if provided, your email address) is processed solely for delivery.

Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR. No transfers to third countries take place. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR exists with the hosting provider.

Retention

We store emails only as long as necessary for processing and legal obligations. Server logs are regularly deleted.
